with a butter crock you can keep your butter on your countertop for days to keep it soft and spreadable! when used with 1-2cm of water in the base, the contact between the water surface + the edge of the lid’s basin, an airtight seal is created which prevents the butter from spoiling. butter lives in the basin in the lid :)
water should be replaced every 2-3 days. wash pieces in between finishing a batch of butter and adding new. dishwasher safe :)
